Inkday Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-09

These terms cover Inkday: Daily Journal ("the app"), made by Altimany ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them.

License and EULA

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. The app is licensed, not sold. Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) is the governing EULA for the app: Apple Standard EULA. Please do not copy, reverse engineer or resell the app.

Inkday Pro

The core journal is free. Inkday Pro unlocks extra features (the Pro features are listed in the app). You can get Pro in one of three ways. The price in your currency is shown in the app before you buy.

  • Monthly subscription: $4.99 per month, no free trial.
  • Yearly subscription: $39.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. The free trial applies to the yearly plan only.
  • Lifetime unlock: $79.99, a one-time purchase with no renewal. It is tied to your Apple Account. It is a non-subscription purchase and does not auto-renew.

Prices may differ by country and may change. Taxes may apply.

Subscriptions, free trial and renewal

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • On the yearly plan, the 7-day free trial starts when you subscribe. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts to the yearly subscription: you are charged $39.99 and it renews each year.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
  • Restore Purchases: if you reinstall the app or use a new device with the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases in the paywall to get Pro back.
  • If Pro ends, nothing is deleted. Your journal stays on your device and Pro features lock until you subscribe again.

Your content

You own your journal. It stays on your device in files you control. We do not receive it and claim no rights to it. See the Privacy Policy.

No warranty and limit of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Inkday is for journaling and personal notes and does not give medical advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data. Back up your files. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
